Dear Eastside A/V Customer's,

I am writing to inform you of some very recent industry news that may affect you, and your consumer electronic, and/or audio/video experiences. As some of you may or may not have heard, as of 10am Wednesday August 3rd, 2005 "The Good Guy's!" as a wholly owned subsidiary of CompUSA Stores has exited the Northwest market. You may have some concerns as to how this may affect your extended warranty and replacement guarantee contracts. Rest assured they will still be fulfilled by GE services (who your contract is through).

  • To take advantage of your Replacement Contracts (small electronics, some DVD player's, cell phones, etc.) you will first need to contact GE services at 1 (800) 360-4897, and you will then need to be transferred to their customer care department where they will get you an authorization number for replacement. At which time you would then (as of now) need to send your product to the nearest Good Guys location somewhere in Northern California, and have them ship you your new product.

  • To get a product serviced under an Extended Warranty (ESP) contract, you will want to take your equipment to your nearest authorized service location. Depending on the manufacturer of your product, you may be able to get your equipment serviced at Precision Audio/Video on 62nd and Roosevelt (206 522 7607) or Bellevue Audio/Video on 130th Ave NE between Bel-Red Rd, and Northup Way (425 453 0566). If these locations are not able to assist you, my next recommendation would be to search your manufacturer's website, or to contact "The Good Guy's!" customer care number at 1 (800) 866-4897.

  • For In Home TV Service scheduling, you will need to call "The Good Guy's!" customer care number, at 1 (800) 866-4897, and pressing '1' will take you to In Home service.

    With respect to your future Consumer Electronic, and Audio/Video purchases, I wanted to let you know that I am an authorized dealer of many of the same quality brands carried by "The Good Guy's!," including Yamaha and BOSE electronics, Fujitsu plasma TV's, Sharp LCD panels and JVC video products, as well as, Energy, Polk, and JBL speakers, and many more. I would also like to inform you of two new programs I am offering now through the end of the year. The first is my new customer referral bonus program, where you have the opportunity to receive a $25 Starbucks gift card, or a $35 credit toward future products purchased through Eastside A/V, for each new customer referred. The second program is free local delivery on products $500 and up excluding most big screen TV's and other very heavy products.
