Hello Eastside A/V family members,
Spring is here, and Eastside A/V continues to blossom and grow, thanks to your generous support and continued client referrals. In this news letter, I will be talking about the newest edition to the Eastside A/V family, our newly redesigned consumer website www.EastsideAV.com, current and up coming releases of HD DVD, Blu-Ray, OLED, and SED technologies, as well as some new seasonal specials for outdoor entertaining.
www.EastsideAV.com is finally here! I urge you to check it out, and leave me some consumer feedback. If you leave the code "44" at the bottom of your comments, the first 25 to respond will receive a $5.00 Starbucks card. (Limit one card per household). I hope you find the website useful, easy to use, and informative, and will pass on the link to your friends and family. Thank you in advance for stopping by my new website.
HDTV is here to stay, if you don't have one yet, you are bound to have at least one sometime in the near future. Analog TV broadcasting now has a hard cutoff date as prescribed by the FCC, and is schedule to be phased out by February 2009 or sooner. Now is the time to start enjoying the full benefits of an HDTV in your home. Our VHS and DVD collections will be surpassed in sound and video quality by the current release of new HD DVD disc's, and players, and the upcoming fall release of a competing technology called Blu-Ray. In flat panel HDTV news, TV's are getting bigger, less expensive and offering higher resolutions and able to display a full 1920x1080 image. Newer flat panel LCD's, and DLP, 3 LCD, and LCoS (HD-ILA/SXRD) micro display TV's are beginning to utilize LED's (light emitting diode's) to offer a better, brighter, longer lasting picture for your viewing pleasure. In other news, OLED (Organic Light Emitting Diode), and SED (Surface Conduction Electron Emitting Device) flat panel monitors, and HDTV's should be available later on this year. They offer a better, more energy efficient picture versus current Plasma and LCD technologies, without the drawbacks of premature phosphor aging (burn in), a limited color pallet, and poor grey scale compared to CRT (cathode ray glass tube) based TV's. More information about these exciting new technologies can also now be found on our new website.
Outdoor Spring and Summer entertaining is what many Pacific Northwesterner's live for, and Eastside A/V is your place for Weber BBQ Grills and accessories, as well as Outdoor Audio Packages. As a special spring promotion, when you purchase an outdoor audio system totaling $500 or more, you will receive a FREE Weatherproof Volume Control ($120 value). All Weber Grills $500 or more, include FREE delivery and setup (within 15 miles of Bellevue). Please call for additional spring specials on Genesis and Summit Gold and Platinum models.
Lastly, I would like to mention that my current labor rates will be increasing to $85 for the 1st hour and $75/hour thereafter billed in 20 minute increments. Additional Rate information is now available on eastsideav.com. This change will go into effect June 1st 2006.
Thank you again for your continued support and generosity.
